Banwell Buddies are currently seeking an Early Years Educator and a Pre-school Leader.

Post !:

Early Years Educator – 1 Year, Fixed Term Maternity Cover.

8.30 am – 4.30 pm, 24 hours per week over 3 days – Term Time

Start date: As soon as possible

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner to join our team. This is an ideal opportunity for those looking to build their portfolio of professional development within a well-established setting.  We may consider an applicant looking to take up an apprenticeship in Early Years.

All applicants must have:

A minimum level 2 in Early Years Education (or be undertaking one as part of an apprenticeship)

A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with parents/carers

Excellent working knowledge and experience of the EYFS, working within statutory and non-statutory guidance.

Post 2:

Pre-school Leader

Initially 3 Days - Term Time, 8:15 – 4:30

Start Date: As soon as possible.

We are looking for an exceptional Leader to join our team. The Leader role is pivotal in our commitment to continuously improving the quality of care and education provided by Banwell Buddies. If you already have leadership experience and would like the opportunity to be part of a forward thinking, enthusiastic team then this could be the opportunity for you.

All applicants must have:            

A level 3 in Early Years Education as a minimum, Foundation Degree in Early Years Care and Education, Early Years Professional Status EYPS/EYTS is desirable.

A minimum of 2 years post qualification experience of working with children in a leadership role within the EYFS framework.

Excellent working knowledge and experience of leading practice across the EYFS, working within statutory and non-statutory guidance.

Experience of line managing a team and enabling team members to deliver a high standard of care and education.

The successful candidate will support staff in achieving and maintaining exceptionally high standards across all areas of the provision.  Their practice must consistently reflect the highest aspirations for all children’s safety, well being and learning. They will be creative, flexible and innovative in promoting the development, welfare and potential of all children, in line with the EYFS. A strong desire to progress professionally is essential.
